Four dynamic women engineers from GE Global Research will lead an interactive conversation about STEM careers. They will share career insights, based on their own personal journeys, GE opportunities, and how to prepare for an exciting STEM career where you can make a real difference in the world. Audience members are invited to ask questions and participate in the discussion.
Catherine Graichen is a Senior Staff Software Engineer in GE Global Research’s Software Science and Analytics Organization. She has developed controls, analytics and process automation software for applications in energy, healthcare, finance, security, and transportation. She is an Agile Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance and GE Six Sigma Quality Black Belt. She holds 14 US patents and has co-authored several conference papers.
Lynn DeRose is a member of the Robotics and Machine-2-Machine Laboratory in the Software Science and Analytics Organization at GE Research. She instruments GE’s manufacturing equipment and products to identify, locate and monitor their condition. She provides this information back to the software analytics teams to build models of the equipment.
Judith Guzzo is a Senior Research Scientist at GE Global Research, focused in the Software Sciences & Analytics domain. She has over 20 years of technical and project leadership experience in asset visibility technologies of complex systems with 9 issued U.S. patents and over 15 peer-reviewed journal and conference proceedings. Judith has executed on numerous cross-functional and cross-disciplinary programs for GE’s industrial businesses, including GE Oil & Gas, GE Power and GE Healthcare, delivering innovative asset visibility and decisioning systems to enhance business productivity. Ms. Guzzo’s leadership strengths include the ability to integrate multiple team members while developing technical innovation and executing project goals.
Vrinda Rajiv is a senior computer scientist in the Software Laboratory at GE Global Research Center. She has more than 25 years of experience software architecture, data analytics, decision sciences, process engineering, diagnostic and prognostic technologies. She has ‘Software Architecture Professional’, ‘Six Sigma Black Belt’, ‘Agile Scrum Master’ and ‘Agile Product Owner certifications’. Vrinda has 8 US patents, published 6 external papers and authored more than 20 GE internal publications. She holds a M.B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Bombay, India.
