Daniel Enríquez Vidaña
President and a Member of Board of Directors for Venture Café New England
Daniel is President and a Member of Board of Directors for Venture Café New England overseeing the programs and spaces operating in Boston, Cambridge and
Providence. Daniel joined Venture Café New England in 2018 as Director of District Hall Boston, in addition to leading the Roxbury Innovation Center team since January 2019. Prior to that, Daniel served as Vice President for Boston based Cradles to Crayons. Daniel brings a true passion for engaging diverse entrepreneurial communities along with thirty years of experience merging leadership, creativity and business insight with solid non-profit, start-up consulting and
corporate organizations. Daniel has held senior executive supply chain roles for tech and e-commerce market leaders such as Apple Inc., Universal Electronics, VeriFone and ProvideCommerce. Daniel also founded the November Nights Elite College Soccer Showcase a California based youth soccer non-profit. Daniel holds a B.A. in Spanish with a concentration in International Business from Santa Clara University. Daniel and his wife Christina, a 3rd Grade Teacher at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Mission Grammar School in Roxbury, relocated from San Diego to Boston in 2017. In his spare time, he enjoys baseball, hiking and taking day-trips
around New England.
Associate Director of Events + Operations
Rachael is the Associate Director of Events and Operations at Venture Café New England’s District Hall and Roxbury Innovation Center. She is a veteran and leading expert in the hospitality space. Rachael leads the booking of meeting and event spaces, helping large corporations and entrepreneurs create space and events to collaborate and share ideas. You can find her managing both event sites, setting up rooms, giving site tours, and connecting with all of our members of the innovation community. In addition to her love for attention to details and organization, Rachael enjoys exploring the outdoors, including camping, kayaking, and playing field hockey. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Hospitality Management from Endicott College.
Associate Director of Entrepreneur Programming + Marketing
Tara is the Associate Director of Entrepreneur Programming and Marketing at Venture Café New England’s District Hall and Roxbury Innovation Center, helping entrepreneurs to launch and scale their businesses. She brings a diverse background to the foundation from working with and consulting for Fortune 500 companies, to being a 2x entrepreneur in cosmetic + skincare and mindfulness consulting. Tara’s deep interest in Entrepreneurship, lead her to studying the effectiveness of Entrepreneurship as a tool to alleviate poverty in underdeveloped countries and communities. This passion encouraged her to travel to 27+ countries engaging in entrepreneurial cultures and communities around the world, from Nicaragua, to Nepal, India and European countries. She has an MBA from Baruch College Zicklin School of Business in New York City and a B.A. in English and Philosophy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In her free time, she enjoys sailing, meditating, kayaking and traveling. She is also a leading Meditation and Sound Therapist expert.
Event Sales Manager
Jenna is the Events Manager at Venture Café New England’s District Hall and Roxbury Innovation Center. When you book space at either of our innovative locations, Jenna will work with you to bring your event visions to reality. You can also find her looking after District Hall’s hallway art exhibitions and assisting with our grant application submissions. In previous roles, Jenna has built strong non-profit project management experiences by designing museum exhibitions, orchestrating distinguished gala dinners and other fundraising initiatives at a library. Jenna holds a B.A. in Archaeology from Dickinson College and an M.A. in Museum Studies from the University of East Anglia. In her spare time, Jenna enjoys painting, reading, hiking through New England, and exploring the world.
Entrepreneur Program Coordinator
Christian is the Entrepreneur Program Coordinator at Venture Café New England’s District Hall and Roxbury Innovation Center, helping entrepreneurs to launch and scale their businesses. He leads the LaunchedBY Roxbury program, a strategic path for aspiring entrepreneurs to launch their idea into a viable business. Each month he hosts one-one-one mentor sessions to help people take their first step on the path of Entrepreneurship. In his free time, he enjoys reading, going to shows and art museums, and writing. Christian has settled into Boston after receiving both his Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainable Community Development and his Master’s in Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He is also a 2x entrepreneur in clothing + apparel and business consulting.
ASHLEY KUZMANKO MEDERIOS
Head of Strategy & Impact for Venture Café New England
shley is the Head of Strategy & Impact for Venture Café New England, bringing significant experience in program and fund development, and community and stakeholder engagement to our community. As an innovative and strategic leader, her greatest strength is her ability to look past a problem and create a strategy for change. Prior to joining VCNE, she spent several years as a business consultant and managing director of Connect Greater Newport, a regional economic development initiative. In this role, Ashley provided proactive outreach and support to help businesses identify and leverage existing strengths and overcome challenges limiting their potential growth. Prior to her time as a consultant, she spent over 12 years working in nonprofit management supporting organizational growth through program and fund development, community engagement, administrative oversight and leadership. She enjoys helping others to see their own potential and draws on her diverse background to help create better communities. Ashley is originally from Pittsburgh and has called Rhode Island home for the past 11 years. In her free time, she enjoys the beach and spending time outdoors with her husband Scott and their 4 year old daughter Kennedy.
