District Hall and BostonSpeaks are teaming up to bring you the In A Nutshell workshop series. Small session jampacked with effective strategies to heighten vital skills that can be leveraged into professional growth.

Storytelling In A Nutshell:  Every message tells a story. It can be a dry, uninspiring story— or it can touch the audience emotionally and create an interest and sense of connection. Often we are so focused on getting the information out that we forget to communicate the message. Storytelling is the way to do both. Think of the great storytellers— Steve Jobs, Brene Brown, Simon Sinek, Mark Twain, the list goes on. They were able to connect with the audience and make them relate to and become part of the story. Let’s discover how that happens!

Please come with ideas for two stories so we can apply storytelling strategies on real work and be prepared to learn the main story arcs, how to create the theme and perspective of your story, add texture and character to your story and how to move your audience with your story.
